Shoeboxed Receipt Scanner App App Reviews

Wish I would have discovered this app a few years ago! It makes keeping track of receipts and mileage SO MUCH EASIER. Figuring out deductions for my taxes next year will be a breeze.

I like that this app is easy to navigate. It has all the categories separated and you simply take a photo and it saves it. I do not like that it will only allow 5 photo uploads per month or you have to pay. I have a lot of receipts for my business and only being able to upload 5 is not efficient. I do like the app and plan to invest in upgrading so I can have to ease of uploading my receipts easily for tax purposes.

I started using Shoeboxes as a backstop method of keeping track of expenses I deduct from my taxes against my small business income. I tried using a similar system a few years ago and found it frustrating but the technology has clearly improved dramatically since then. I

I love that I can track all my receipts in one place and get rid of papers! Tax time will be much easier next year. I also appreciate the ability to categorize my spending.

Wonderful app to make your bookkeeping smooth and effortless...and little receipt papers everywhere not an issue any longer - paper-free is awesome! Love it. Totally recommend it.

Good app, I still have to use two for all my tax needs because mile tracking is active not passive. Original purpose is good, but they should look into passive tracking of miles and I will pay monthly. So I use 2 apps now, MileIQ and this one

Helpful for budgeting, reporting, and filing taxes!

Ive loaded three receipts so far and one has loaded and it looks great. The only concern I have is that it takes about 10 hours to load. Is this going to actual people to look at the receipt and then they enter the data? Or is it an interface thats slowing it down? Just wondering as I didnt have an urgency but someone else might.

I used this app for all of my deductible receipts last year. When it was time to add everything up for taxes, all the pictures I had taken were gone. Wouldnt have been too much of a problem except some of the receipts didnt get totaled and saved. There is no way to generate a "totals" report. I still had to add everything up manually. I will be finding an app that will not only store my receipts, but also add up the totals in the correct categories. With this app, you might as well just keep your receipts.

I downloaded the app and scanned a receipt. I kept waiting for it to process the data for ten minutes but it never happened. I wasn’t satisfied and deleted the app.

I really like the idea of the app and it works. I just wish that we did not have to pay for more scans. And it seems like it takes a while for a receipt to process. Its a very good app if you need something like this.

UI is so easy to understand. Its good app except available in market.

This app is super handy. As someone who keeps all their receipts, this makes my life a little simpler and my wallet a little slimmer. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because it takes a little while to verify each receipt
